Forum

The Small Public Company Forum is the first of its kind in the nation. Celebrating its inaugural event on June 24, 2009, ICAFE-MN participated in an expert roundtable discussion of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and how small public reporting companies can comply cost-effectively.

Click here to listen to the podcast of the roundtable discussion.

The Forum was created by the Maslon Edelman Borman and Brand law firm in response to needs voiced by their small public reporting clients. These clients were looking for expert advice on new and developing accounting and business issues similar to the way they receive legal information and advice from the Maslon firm, right-sized for their company and with a consciousness of the budgeting and personnel constraints that often accompany small public reporting companies yet geared to address the specific risks they face. ICAFE-MN is honored to be a participant in the Forum and we frequently write “tips” posted on the Forum’s website.
